The 8MM Solid Alternating Mariner Bracelet is a true mariner link: every link is an oval with a bar across its centre, and consecutive links sit at ninety degrees to one another — one lying flat with the bar showing, the next standing on edge. That alternation is the whole design.

At 8MM the alternating mariner becomes a heavy bracelet by any measure — the flat links are broad enough to show the bar clearly from across a room, and the edge-on links keep it from reading as a solid band.
