Dove above, burning heart at the centre.
The Cross of the Apostolate Pendant carries the full emblem on a cross of smooth round bar. The arms are turned and mirror-polished with domed ends — no texture, no cutting — so all the work sits where the symbols are.
At the crossing is the Sacred Heart, modelled in full relief and wreathed in carved flame, with a small cross rising from the top of it and a burst of pointed rays thrown out behind. It stands well clear of the bar, which is what makes it read from across a room rather than only up close.
Above, at the head of the cross, the dove of the Holy Spirit descends with both wings spread wide and head turned down toward the heart, each flight feather cut separately, resting on a small carved shell.
Read together they are the whole point of the emblem: the Cross, the Heart that is offered on it, and the Spirit that comes down over both.
The bail is wide, flat and polished to match the arms.
