The 2MM Solid Plain Franco Chain is built from V-shaped links folded into each other so tightly that the surface reads as one continuous ribbon of gold. There is almost no gap between links, which is what gives Franco its density and its distinctive squared cross-section. At 7 to 27 grams depending on purity and length, it spans everyday wear through full statement weight.

That density is the point. A Franco holds its shape under its own weight instead of collapsing into a puddle, so it sits on the collarbone with a defined line. It is also why Franco runs heavier per inch than most chains of the same stated width.
