The 3.2MM Solid Miami Cuban Link Chain uses flattened oval links, each one interlocking through the last and twisted so the whole chain lies flat. It is the most recognisable chain silhouette there is, and it earns that on construction rather than decoration. At 11 to 39 grams depending on purity and length, it spans everyday wear through full statement weight.

Because each link is flattened before it is closed, the chain lies flat against the skin instead of rolling, and the interlock leaves very little play. That combination is why Cuban wears heavier than its gram weight suggests.
