The 7MM Solid Byzantine Chain is built on one of the oldest chain patterns still made. Each link is turned through the pair before it and folded back on itself, so the run locks into a dense four-sided braid rather than a flat row. The result bends in every direction and springs back to shape — the reason the weave has stayed in production for centuries while flatter patterns came and went.

At 7MM this runs close to ten grams per inch in 14K. That is statement weight by any measure, and the Byzantine weave carries it better than most constructions would: the interlock distributes the mass along the chain rather than concentrating it.

The chain is cast solid in gold at the stated purity — no tubing, no filler, no plating. Every piece is XRF tested for purity and priced by its final weight, so what you pay reflects the gold that actually goes into your chain.

Clasp Options

• Lobster Lock – The familiar spring-gate closure, quick to work one-handed. Offered in 10K through 22K
• M Lock – A heavier push-and-lock closure sized for the weight of the piece. Offered in 22K and 24K, where the chain is at its heaviest
• Folding Clasp Lock – A concealed box-and-fold closure that disappears into the braid. Offered in 10K through 22K
• Endless Design – No clasp at all. The weave is closed into a continuous loop, so the braid runs unbroken the whole way around. Because it has to pass over the head, the endless build starts at 24 inches
