The Dragon Orb Pendant is only 30mm by 21.5mm — barely over an inch — and carries 20g in 24K. At that footprint the number tells you the plate is thick: this is a dense little object, not a thin stamping.
A cloud-scroll border runs the full frame, worked in deep rolling curls that break the outline so the piece never reads as a plain rectangle.
Inside, the dragon comes down from the upper field — horned head, cut mane, scaled body, one clawed foot forward — and reaches toward the orb in the lower right corner. That orb is a smooth polished dome, deliberately left plain, and it is the only unworked surface on the whole piece. Against the cut texture everywhere else, it is the first thing your eye lands on.
The bail is a plain round ring rather than a flat band — in keeping with a piece this size, and it lets the pendant turn freely on the chain.
The dragon pursuing the pearl is the oldest motif in Chinese ornament. The pearl is wisdom, or fortune, or the thing just out of reach; the chase is the point, not the catch.
