The Korean Tiger Pendant is shaped as a hanging tablet — a rectangular panel with flared rails top and bottom, the form of a carved signboard rather than a plain plaque. Both faces are worked.
On the front the tiger climbs the panel in relief, body twisting, forepaw raised toward a rosette disc set at the top with a domed bead at its centre and a crescent arc sweeping behind it. The tiger and the disc are worked in a contrasting metal against the satin ground, so the animal reads clearly against the field. The tiger is Korea’s oldest emblem — the mountain guardian, the figure that keeps harm out — and it has stood for the country itself for centuries.
The reverse carries 대한민국 — Daehan Minguk, the Republic of Korea — raised in Hangul down a recessed panel, framed by the same rails. It is the name you hear chanted at matches, and here it is cut in gold.
Frame and rails are left mirror-polished against the satin fields, and the bail is kept plain so nothing competes with the two faces.
