The Old English “M” Pendant is a round disc with a bright polished rim running the full circumference, a recessed satin field inside it, and the letter raised off that field in high polish. Three surfaces, one piece of gold — the contrast is entirely in the finish, not in different metals.
The letterform is proper blackletter, not a rounded imitation of it: heavy vertical stems, the split diamond of the shoulder, hairline connecting strokes and the pointed spurs at the feet. That detail is what separates a real Old English initial from a stamped one, and it is the reason the letter still reads cleanly at 1.25”.
A flat tab bail sits above the rim, so the disc hangs square rather than tilting.
