The Red Eyed Santa Muerte Ring is a full-face sculpture of the hooded skull — the folk saint of the good death, rendered here with the patience the subject deserves. The skull itself is left in a soft satin finish, so the cheekbones, the sunken sockets and every individual tooth read as bone rather than as polished metal.

Around it, the cowl is outlined in hand-set diamonds that trace the hood from shoulder to shoulder, and four graduated rows of pavé run down each side into the band. The contrast is the whole point: matte bone at the centre, a hard line of light around it.

Set into the sockets are two synthetic rubies — deep red, faceted, and the first thing anyone notices from across a room.
