Thirty grams of 24K in something an inch tall.
The Siddhartha Gautama Buddha Head Pendant is a head carved in the round — not a relief on a disc — and the whole piece turns on one contrast: the hair is frosted and the face is mirror-polished. Nothing else does the work. There are no stones, no plating and no engraving on the face at all.
The curls are the texture. The hair is built from rows of individual snail-shell curls, each one raised and separately cut, running from the hairline back over the crown and up into the ushnisha — the cranial rise that marks an enlightened being. All of it is sandblasted to a fine matte, so the curls hold shadow and read as hundreds of separate beads rather than as one textured mass.
The face is left completely bright. Polished to a mirror and modelled in soft, full planes: heavy lidded eyes turned down, long arched brows, a straight nose and a small closed mouth. At the top of the ushnisha sits a polished gold dome, and between the brows a small raised urna bead — both cut in metal rather than set with anything.
The earlobes are long and pierced-through, hanging almost to the jaw. In the traditional reading they are stretched from the heavy earrings Siddhartha wore as a prince and gave up.
The bail is separate and decorative — a tapered plate engraved with a scrolling leaf pattern, hinged so the head sits square rather than tipping forward. Its opening is 4.5mm.
At 1" without the bail, this is a small piece carrying real weight for its size — 30g in 24K. It wears like a solid object, not a stamping.

Siddhartha Gautama is the historical Buddha, and this is the face of him after the awakening rather than the round laughing figure people often expect — the eyes are closed, and the whole point of the carving is that nothing on it is agitated.
Made to order, turnaround time is typically 2-4 weeks.
