No bail on it. That is the design.
The Simple Cross with Hidden Bail Pendant has no loop, no fitting and nothing soldered to the top. Instead the upper arm is drilled straight through, and the chain passes through the cross itself. The silhouette is unbroken — what hangs on the chain is a cross and only a cross.
The trade-off is deliberate and worth knowing before you order: because the hole is the bail, it takes a chain of up to 1.5mm. This is a piece for a fine chain or a cord, not for a Cuban.
The arms are rounded rather than square-edged — soft tubular sections with domed ends, so there is no hard corner anywhere on it — and the surface carries a faint hand-worked undulation under a high polish, which catches light in broken glints instead of one flat sheet. It reads as something beaten rather than machined.
At 25.5mm by 17.8mm it is small, but at 9.8g in 24K it is dense for that footprint. This is a solid little object, not a thin stamping.
