The stagger is what makes it move. Because the bars are offset rather than aligned, the band never presents a flat face — turn your hand and the rows catch light in sequence instead of all at once. The polished ribs between them do the same job as the bevels on a solid Cuban: they hold the pattern together and keep the diamonds from reading as one continuous blur.
The diagonal setting wraps the full circumference, and at 20g in 18K it sits as a comfortable everyday band rather than a statement block.
