A tiger coming down the plate, on a field of cut light.
The Diamond-Cut Tiger Rectangular Pendant is a heavy rectangular plaque with softly rounded corners. The tiger is carved in full relief at the centre, prowling downward with its head turned out and its tail curled high behind it, every stripe cut individually and the whole animal left in a fine satin so the muscling and the face read clearly. A curl of stylised cloud sits off its shoulder.
Behind it the entire field is diamond-cut into rays that run from the centre to all four edges, finished in contrasting metal. It is a large flat surface and the cutting is what keeps it alive — the plate throws light in every direction as it swings.
The frame is left mirror-polished and squared, and the edge band around the outside of the plate is patterned the whole way round, so the piece is finished on its sides as well as its face. A wide polished bail sits above, cut to clear a heavy chain.
Why You’ll Love It:
-
Full-Relief Tiger – Individually cut stripes, satin-finished against the bright field
-
Hand Diamond-Cut Ground – Rays running corner to corner in contrasting metal
-
Patterned Edge Band – Worked around the sides, not just the face
-
Wide Heavy Bail – 6mm opening, sized for a substantial chain
-
Solid Gold Throughout – No stones and no plating; the cutting does the work
The Diamond-Cut Tiger Rectangular Pendant carries the largest diamond-cut field in our catalogue.
Made to order, turnaround time is typically 2-4 weeks.
