King's Crown Ring

Not a crown motif. A crown.

The King’s Crown Ring is a fully realized royal crown built at ring scale — a tapered circlet rising from the band, a scalloped fleur-de-lis rim, and four arched half-domes sweeping up and inward to meet a raised orb topped with a cross finial. It is architecture, not a silhouette stamped onto a face.

Every surface of that structure carries stones. Roughly 600 of them: across the tapered circlet, along the twin beaded bands that belt it, over each rising arch, and into the orb at the summit. Because the arches are open underneath, light enters the crown from the sides and comes back out through the top — which a solid dome simply cannot do.

It stands tall off the finger and it is meant to. The band beneath is left polished and smooth, the one restrained surface on the whole piece, so the crown reads as something set upon the hand rather than carved into it.
