The Ox Rectangular Pendant is a small rounded-corner plate with a thick mirror-polished border raised around a recessed satin field. The contrast does the work: bright frame, frosted ground, and the animal standing out of it in high relief.
The ox is caught mid-stride with his head turned out toward the viewer — long horns swept up and back, heavy neck and shoulder, tail raised behind. The high points of the horns, back and flank are polished bright while the field behind stays matte, so the figure reads clearly at a small size.
A flat tab bail sits at the top, keeping the plate hanging square.
